Product Specifications

brand name Allen-Bradley

The part number 20F11ND027AA0NNNNN is a replacement part for the AMP Research PowerStep Running Board. This part is a "Made to Order, Machined Part" and is non-refundable and non-cancelable once ordered. It is designed to replace older style A-04 and A-06 controllers and includes an additional plug for an optional toggle switch.

The AMP Research PowerStep Running Board is a product designed for trucks, Jeep brand vehicles, SUVs, and vans. It provides a clean and aggressive look with a tread design that ensures ultimate traction in any condition. The PowerStep XL features a 3” lower stepping surface than the original PowerStep, while the PowerStep Xtreme is designed for extreme conditions.

The running board mechanism can become clogged with debris such as mud, dirt, and salt, which may lead to unwanted noise or binding. To clean the running board, the user should manually set the running boards to deploy, then spray the front and rear linkages with a pressure washer, avoiding the motors directly. After washing, silicone spray should be applied to all four linkage arms and pivot pins. The user should cycle the door to work the lubrication into the hinge points.

If the step is clicking when deploying or retracting, the user should adjust the bolt and wedge. This involves removing the motor from the side affected, allowing the step to rest in the fully deployed or down position, and then adjusting the bolt and wedge accordingly.

AMP Research offers a limited warranty on their products, including a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty on BedStep & BedXTender models and a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty on PowerStep models. For expert installation and superior service, users can locate a dealer near them through the company's website. Detailed user manuals and installation guides are available for search by product name or part number.
