The 20AB6P8A0AYNNNC0 PowerFlex 70 AC drive from Allen-Bradley is a compact solution that integrates operator interface, control, and power to meet user needs for space, reliability, and efficiency. It is easy to install and configure, with a voltage rating of 200-240 VAC and outputs of 2 HP for normal duty and 1.5 HP for heavy duty. The drive is housed in an IP20 (NEMA Type 1) enclosure with conformal coating, although it lacks an HMI, drive-mounted brake resistor, and CE compliant filter. Despite this, it offers enhanced motor control without feedback and includes Zero Staking capabilities, with a temperature rating of 50°C. The drive can be mounted on a wall or a machine and supports control options like Volts per Hertz (V/Hz), vector control, and sensorless vector control. It also accommodates industrial protocols such as Ethernet, DeviceNet, and ControlNet.

Key features include advanced bus regulation, drive overload protection, multilingual support, and a Logic control platform to simplify parameters and tag programming, thereby reducing development time. The Safe Torque-Off function ensures a faster startup after safety or maintenance actions by cutting off rotational power to the drive. Power options include input fuses, circuit breakers, a bypass, and a fused disconnect, with additional transformer and output relay control options available. The unit also features door-mounted HMI status pilot lights, a speed potentiometer, and a manual/auto selector switch.
