The Allen-Bradley 150-SB2NUR is a solid-state, open-type SMC-50 smart motor controller. It has a 110 A rating and supports a three-phase line voltage of 200 to 690V AC at either 50 or 60 Hz, with a control voltage of 24V DC. This model features 2 DC inputs at 24V and 2 standard relay outputs and is suitable for use with Wye-Delta (6-lead) motors as well as standard three-phase squirrel cage induction motors.
When connected to motors utilizing a rated voltage of 500 kW or 575 HP, the motor current ranges from 37 to 110 A, the motor power rating is 25 to 75 kW at 50 Hz, and the motor horsepower rating is 40 to 100 HP at 60 Hz. When used with Delta-connected motors at the same voltage, the motor current ranges from 65 to 190 A, the motor power rating is 50 to 132 kW at 50 Hz, and the motor horsepower rating is 75 to 150 HP at 60 Hz.
The 150-SB2NUR controller also includes 3 expansion ports, local serial communication through 4 DPI ports, PCBs with a conformal coating, a push-to-reset/hold-to-test button, and an LED status indicator. It offers nine starting modes: dual ramp start, linear speed acceleration, preset slow speed, torque control start, selectable kickstart, pump control mode, current limit start, full voltage start, and soft start.
Safety features of the 150-SB2NUR include voltage and current sensing on every phase, undervoltage and overvoltage protection, voltage unbalance protection, continuous SCR control (solid state), stall protection, underload protection, jam detection, excessive start prevention, and external bypass capability.
