The Allen-Bradley 1326AS-B460F-21 is a servo motor from the 1326AS series, designed to operate on 460 Volts AC. It utilizes rare-earth magnets to provide double the torque in a more compact space. When paired with Allen-Bradley's AM04, AM07, or AM50 servo drives, this motor achieves precise positioning and speeds up to 4300 RPM at 460 Volts AC. The system is plug-and-play, cost-effective, and protects against overcurrent, high voltage, excessive temperatures, and dangerous torque levels.
The motor uses a resolver for closed-loop control, providing speed and position information. It's commonly used in applications requiring ramping and controlled acceleration. The speed-torque curve of the 1326AS-B460F-21 shows it maintains its nominal speed up to 6 N-m of continuous torque, after which the speed decreases linearly to 3500 RPM at a peak stall torque of 27.1 N-m. Allen-Bradley specifies operating temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius, and storage temperatures between -30 and 70 degrees Celsius.
Weighing 13.8 kilograms (30.4 pounds), the motor includes B segment thermal insulation with a thermal time constant of 41 minutes. It is installed using an IEC metric flange and has a keyed shaft for load attachment. Optional accessories are available, including a 24 Volts DC brake and shaft sealing kits.
