The 1326AS-B420G-21-K4 AC servo motor is a component of the 1326AS series by Allen-Bradley, featuring rare-earth magnets. Its stator windings are housed in a 100-millimeter diameter frame (size 4), while its potent rotor magnet enables it to deliver a motor rated torque of 28 pounds per inch. The motor has a power output of 1.2 kilowatts and operates on voltages between 380 and 460 Volts AC, producing nominal speeds of 4340 RPM and 5250 RPM, respectively. The motor, designed for IEC flange mounting, includes a resolver for the position of the keyed shaft, providing 4096 pulses per revolution for speed control devices. For optimal performance, it is recommended to pair this motor with a compatible Allen-Bradley AC servo drive such as the AM03, AM04, or AM07. With an AM07 drive, the system can achieve a peak stall torque of 84 pounds per inch.

The servo motor is safeguarded by an aluminum enclosure rated at IP 65, suitable for a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Even at this ambient temperature or below, the motor's surface can reach up to 100 degrees Celsius, making it hazardous to touch during operation. If the motor overheats, it will trigger an alarm signaling system to shut down the motor and prevent damage.
