The Allen-Bradley 1746-NO4V is a high-performance four-point analog voltage output module designed for the SLC 500 series. Featuring an output range from -10 to +10 Volts, the module operates with a backplane current of 55 mA at 5 Volts and 145 mA at 24 Volts. Offering a solid field wiring to backplane isolation of 500 Volts DC, it's factory calibrated with a 16-bit two's complement binary format, ensuring precise control for applications involving PID controllers, mathematical operations, or data retransmission. Its efficient design includes an update time of 512 µs and a step response time of 2.5 ms at 95%, housed in an open-type enclosure compatible with a 1746 chassis. The device must be installed considering ambient temperature and electrical noise, and it features a removable terminal block and LED status indicator, using an optimal wire size of #14 AWG. It delivers durable performance across a wide operating temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, with a maximum overall accuracy drift of +/- 54 ppm/ °C full scale, making it highly reliable for industrial automation tasks.
