The Allen-Bradley 1756-LSC8XIB8I is a versatile ControlLogix low-speed counter module designed for precision in industrial applications. This module features eight isolated sink/source input points and eight dedicated counters, capable of handling maximum frequencies up to 40 kHz. It operates within a 10 to 30V DC range and utilizes a nominal 24V DC, while offering a high level of durability with a continuous isolation voltage of 250V, rigorous type testing for input-to-backplane voltages, as well as robust thermal and shock ratings. The 31-bit counters provide data on accumulated count, frequency, and pulse width and can be integrated with a ControlLogix chassis using a 1756-TBS6H or 1756-TBCH removable terminal block housing.
