The Allen-Bradley 22D-B017F104 is an adjustable-frequency AC drive from the PowerFlex 40P series. It is designed for three-phase 240V AC input, with an acceptable voltage range of 180 to 264V AC at 50 to 60 Hz. This drive consumes 11.8 kVA of input power and 26.1 Amps. Its output specifications include a rating of 17.5 Amps and 3.7 kW (5.0 horsepower). The 22D-B017F104 is a standard model without an integrated EMC filter. The Human-Machine Interface allows for parameter display and fault reset only. It has bus over-voltage and under-voltage trip ratings of 405V DC and 210V DC, respectively.

This drive features integrated Class 10 motor overload protection in compliance with NEC article 430, and motor over-temperature protection as per NEC article 430.125. It supports Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation, Volts per Hertz, and Sensorless Vector Control for its control methods. Its output frequency can be set between 0 to 500 Hz. Multiple stop modes and four acceleration/deceleration times are supported. The drive can handle an overload of 150% for up to 1 minute and 200% overload for up to 3 seconds.

The 22D-B017F104 is housed in a flange-mount IP20-rated NEMA type open enclosure (frame size B) measuring 180 x 100 x 144.2 millimeters. It dissipates 235 Watts of power as heat during operation and operates in temperatures ranging from -10 to 50 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 0 to 95% non-condensing.
