The Allen-Bradley 150-SD1NUR SMC-50 Smart Motor Controller is an advanced, microprocessor-based solid-state starter designed for managing 3-phase induction motors. It provides monitoring, protection, and communication features. The controller offers 9 start modes to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime, and it safeguards against under/over voltage, voltage imbalance, stalling, jamming, and overheating. It supports voltages from 200 to 690V AC at frequencies of 47 to 63Hz, with input tolerance of -15% to +10%, and handles an operational current of 361A. The power circuit has a 500V IEC-rated impulse voltage, a peak inverse voltage of 1800V, and a dielectric withstand of 2,200V AC.
The 150-SD1NUR accommodates both standard and heavy-duty ratings. It offers shock protection with an IP00 (IP20 for control terminals) enclosure and DV/DT protection via an RC Snubber Network. The control circuit operates at 24V DC and withstands 1500V AC, with a 300ms power ride-through time. It has a standard control input range of 15 to 30V DC, with an ON-state voltage/current of 10V DC/2.8mA and an OFF-state of 10.9V DC/3mA.
Additionally, the 150-SD1NUR includes 2 programmable relay outputs with NO/NC contacts, rated to carry 3A and 1.5A at 120V AC and 240V AC respectively. It supports serial communication through 4 DIP ports and is compatible with optional 20-COMM-X modules. LEDs indicate faults and alarms. The controller operates in temperatures between -20 to 40 °C (-4 to 104 °F) and comes in an Open NEMA enclosure. It can be mounted vertically, functions without derating up to an altitude of 2000m, and weighs approximately 77.1kg. Its dimensions are 914.4mm x 1295.4mm x 355.6mm, and it holds CE and UL certifications.
